Creative Writing
Alongside my professional work in editing and educational content, I write creative nonfiction and other literary work under a pen name. This work has strengthened my ability to work with voice, narrative, tone, structure, and emotionally complex subject matter while maintaining a distinct authorial perspective.

I'm an editor, writer, and bilingual language professional who gets genuinely excited about revision: the unglamorous, unskippable part of writing that most people rush through.

My background blends a BA in Creative Writing and English Literature, a foundation in marketing, and over a decade of English-language teaching, where I trained my eye on grammar, syntax, tone, and what actually helps a reader understand.

That combination shows up in real work. At Southern New Hampshire University, I developed educational content for students, taking projects from concept through scriptwriting, editorial review, revision, and final production. I've also worked across translation, copywriting, and bilingual English-Spanish content, work that's taught me correctness is the easy part. Understanding your reader is the real job.

Today, I bring those skills together through copyediting and proofreading, with a particular interest in educational, digital content and nonfiction, especially in language, literature, and the humanities.

I'm also interested in English-language editing for international authors, helping writers communicate their ideas clearly and naturally in English.

If you need someone who can take existing content and make it clearer, tighter, and more effective, that's the work I do best.

"Writing begins with what we want to say. Editing asks whether we’ve actually said it."
